Wise Women Win!

Hello Friends,

My first blog entry is about the woman who built my blog, Phyllis Wilson, Wise Woman and business consultant. It is also about you and me,  women who are wise enough to figure out that we need help running our small businesses.

A common theme among my helping profession friends is how much time we spend on tasks unrelated to our vocations, like websites and marketing, in order to be able to DO our vocations. We think we don’t have the time or money to track down and retain good support services. The truth is, we don’t have the time and money NOT to.

I want to cry when I figure out how much time I’ve spent trying to create and maintain my own website. The one Phyllis created for me with WordPress is amazingly simple to edit. It just went live yesterday and today I am blogging. All that’s left is to add some photos which Phyllis left for me to do so I have the freedom to create and use the ones I want.
